What is Pathnovo?
P&IDs, PFDs, isometric drawings, bills of materials, datasheets, weld maps, and mill certificates go into purpose-built extraction models. Pathnovo parses technical files from PDFs, DWGs, scans, and CAD exports, converting unstructured engineering records into structured data. Domain-certified engineers review safety-critical extractions to meet a contractual accuracy SLA of 99.5 percent on critical fields.
Cross-Document Reconciliation and Compliance Checks
Automated validation compares data across instrument indexes, datasheets, and cause-and-effect matrices to flag conflicts before handover or audit. The system continuously checks document sets against heavy industrial codes and regional regulations like OISD 118, IATF 16949, API 510, and IEC 61511. When a P&ID undergoes revision, the system runs an impact check across related documents, highlighting affected cause-and-effect matrix rows, HAZOP nodes, and maintenance records. This prevents superseded drawings from remaining active in the workflow.
Enterprise System Delivery and Knowledge Queries
Structured data pushes directly into enterprise maintenance and asset management platforms, including SAP PM, IBM Maximo, AVEVA NET, and Hexagon SmartPlant. Beyond initial extraction, engineers query facility records in plain language to pull inspection histories, check HAZOP deviations, or verify material specifications used in specific service classes without manual searching.
