What is Maeve Social?
Calendar, board and workspace planning
Posts start on a planning calendar or board where teams map out content across nine platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Threads, Pinterest and Google Business Profile. Maeve Social combines a Miro-style canvas for references and saved Reels, Notion-style documents for briefs and scripts, and Monday-style tables where rows represent actual social posts. The platform adjusts custom settings per platform, such as trial reels for Instagram or music selections on TikTok. A media room handles asset storage, while the Workbench lets collaborators write and edit scripts live.
Automated engagement and client approvals
A built-in social inbox gathers comments and direct messages from connected channels alongside automated direct message triggers for Instagram and Facebook. The approval workflow provides a separate queue with stages for internal teams and external clients. Reviewers access a dedicated portal via link without creating an account or paying per client, and they can sign off from the mobile app using push notifications.
Analytics and AI automation
Consolidated analytics track native platform data alongside metrics for labels, content pillars, and formats, exporting findings as branded PDF reports. Competitor tracking monitors post frequency and engagement levels alongside trending hashtags and music on TikTok. Developers and creators connect AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Gemini, Grok and Qwen through the Model Context Protocol server, REST API, or maeve-cli to draft content, set up auto-replies, and schedule posts using conversational prompts.
