Riff
Fresh replies for every post, written on your computer
In their words
Riff is a free Chrome extension that helps you reply on X, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. You paste your rough point. Gemini Nano, the AI built into Chrome, writes a fresh reply for that exact post. You read it, edit it if you want, and press send yourself.
Riff also answers your DMs in LinkedIn Messaging, Messenger on facebook.com and Instagram Direct, and can draft your own posts. Everything runs on your computer. There is no account, no API key, no server and no monthly bill. Riff never posts or sends anything for you.

What is Riff?
Rough points and brief notes turn into fresh replies, direct messages, and standalone posts across social platforms using Riff. Operating locally through Chrome and Gemini Nano, the extension runs directly in the browser side panel without external servers, API keys, or subscriptions.
Four steps from notes to side panel
Opening the panel via the toolbar or a keyboard shortcut triggers context reading for whatever post, comment box, or chat is currently active on screen. Users drop in a rough point, adjust settings like tone or sales approach, and generate a reply sized to fit the host site. One-click chips allow quick reworks for a punchier, shorter, or more human angle before inserting the text into the platform reply box. Sending remains a manual action.
Drafting and repurposing content
Clicking into a new post box switches the panel to drafting mode for creating new content from scratch. Users paste rough notes, select from three opening hooks, and chat with the system to shorten or refine the draft. Repurposing existing text converts a single LinkedIn post into an X thread or an Instagram caption while respecting individual platform length constraints. Saved presets and custom brand voices keep repeat posts aligned with specific formats and goals.
