Etsy Tariff Calculator
What an Etsy listing really pays after fees and tariffs
In their words
Made for Etsy sellers who want to know what a listing actually pays before changing the price again. Open any public Etsy listing and the calculator rebuilds the full fee stack under the price: listing fee, payment processing, offsite ads, and the 15% transaction fee. One line no other fee calculator covers: Etsy's 15% transaction fee also applies to the DDP tariff charge, the prepaid US import duties non-US sellers collect at checkout. Instead of hiding it in a rounded estimate, the tool shows that line explicitly.
The math runs entirely in the browser. The extension sends no network requests, and settings stay on the device. A free web version of the same engine works without installing anything.
Live on the Chrome Web Store since September 2026. Free today; a Pro tier (all-shop profit view, tariff simulation by destination country, margin-drop alerts) has a waitlist and no billing yet.

What is Etsy Tariff Calculator?
Etsy sellers checking what a public listing actually pays before changing prices turn to Etsy Tariff Calculator to rebuild the full fee stack under the item price. Non-US shop owners shipping American orders under delivered duty paid rules enter the item price, the destination country tariff rate, and local costs to see what an item nets after every fee.
The fee breakdown
The engine updates the calculation as numbers change, splitting the total into distinct lines for the listing fee, the 6.5% transaction fee, payment processing, Offsite Ads, and the DDP tariff charge. Since Etsy applies fees to the tariff-inclusive price, the tool accounts for the 15% Etsy takes on the tariff money itself. That specific line is omitted by most other fee checkers. The formula reverse-computes the tariff inside the price by taking the base price times one plus the rate, so the tariff share of the displayed price divides the rate by one plus the rate.
Browser-run math and privacy
All math runs locally in the browser, sending no network requests and keeping all settings on the device. The same calculation engine runs as a web calculator and as a Chrome extension for checking competitor or shop listings directly on Etsy. Rates follow Etsy published fee policy and help pages.
